Who thinks of coursing 15,000 volts of electricity through pieces of wood?  Apparently Melanie Hoff does.  In a very extraordinary experimental piece of conceptual art, Hoff has time-lapse documented the strange erosion that occurs whence passing such a large current through the fibers of wood.
