Using the same infrared triggers as Alan Sailer’s Hi-Speed Photos of bullets and explosions (check the recent post on Sailer’s work HERE),  Markus Reugels (website) captures collisions and contortions of water with magical quality (video of his process!).  Viewing these photos raises questions about how much detail the human eye misses at it’s relatively slow processing rate.  Seemingly mimicking fireworks, globes, flowers, and atomic mushroom clouds, these photos boggle the mind, and challenge conceptions of perception.
