If you’ve ever had the desire to step into the pages of Dr.Seuss, keep your eye out for a Luminarium tour stop near you. The UK based Architects of Air have designed and fabricated a glorious set of inflatable structures that they have dubbed ‘Luminariums’, which are touring the globe on a mind blowing mission. Using a specialized polycarbonate film (that is less than a millimeter thick in areas!!! [ for you non-metric folk that is less than 1/20th of an inch!]), light is transmitted into the interior with such uniqueness, that it invokes a sense of surreality. Fully immersed in various chroma of light-fall visitors express that they have never found themselves so calmed, or been in such a serene setting.
