Experimenting with the mechanics and discovering the abilities of the eye is a fun experience. Saw this for the first time recently and had to share it with you all, pretty wild stufff!! Stare at the center of the spiral GIF for a good 15 seconds (longer for better effect) and then look around Van Gogh’s famous Starry Night for some special ocular action. This is probably closer to the way that Van Gogh had seen the night sky when he painted it back in 1889, except you just have to stare at a hypnosis spiral for 15 seconds instead of drink a few bottles of Absinthe!
