Kiripi Katembo is a photographer / videographer from the Democratic Republic Congo (DRC). His work is a type of surreal and perspective altering documentation of life inside the DRC, all quite sobering. Using debris-strewn puddles as canvasses and stages for vignettes of every-day life, Katembo waits until elements and characters populate them to create allegorical scenes of chaos and mire. Below the gallery of his photos you’ll find a collaborative mini-documentary shot on cell-phones that Katembo participated in to give further insight into DRC troubles. Great Work.
