Boneface is styling…..period. He continues his already highly successful run in 2014 with a few more ultra-detailed, hyper-saturated works that possess a certain outré retro/comic aesthetic. Boneface’s unrivaled conceptualization & execution appealed to the band Queens of The Stone Age, who contracted Boneface to animate a 15 minute chunk of their new album (‘Like clockwork’). Boneface obliged and produced a doom-laden and darkly gruesome multi-character mini-odyssey to visually experience 5 tracks of the new album – you can check the […]
It’s all in the details and evolution of ideas. Certain features or stylings that make make one pull a head-scratch, and wonder how such an idea and subsequent execution came about. Granted, some of these elements are a bit on the ludicrous / gaudy end of things (aka the lay down shower? get tha fak outta hee-uh!), but they are original and thought-evoking none the less. ENJOY! If you dug this post, here are 2 previous posts centered on the […]
Sorry for the lack of posts recently!! Been wrapping up the winter season here in Utah, and burnin’ time in other ways. Here are some brilliant shots from the past month of the NY Times LENS photojournalism page. Please note the Photographer’s names in the bottom right corner of every shot if you’d like to see more of their work :}

Just found out Brian has a brother by the name of Kevin – you’ll certainly be seeing another post centered on his work in the near future. Until then Stay Brassy.
Sam Chiver‘s work is something astounding. Psychedelic & geometric, there are portals in Chivers work to take your mind to alternate planes. Be sure to check out Sam’s website, blog, and shop (very reasonable and affordable prints there!!). VISUAL PORTALS

Ultra-chromatic & otherworldly, Kate Shaw‘s works are like visions from wildly beautiful hallucinations. Shaw’s statement regarding the conceptual intent of her work is also quite radical – (and I quote from her site) : “I am concurrently exploring the sublime in nature whilst imbuing a sense of toxicity and artificiality in this depiction. The intention is to reflect upon the contradiction between our inherent connection to the natural world and continual distancing from it” Creating her own specialized technique of […]
