Swoon is a very eclectic and conscious artist who has recently started assisting in the construction of homes for families affected by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.  Building with SuperAdobe, the structures are intended to be low-cost and earthquake-proof.  She has recently started a Kickstarter project to raise funds to build the 3rd SuperAdobe home for a family in ne ed.  Not only will the project provide shelter for the family, but it will also serve as an educational experience for others in the area to learn how to construct their own home with the inexpensive, strong, and aesthetic construction practice of SuperAdobe.  Please check out the video below, and if you are in the holiday mood of giving, head on over to the kickstarter page (click the purple link above or HERE ) and chip in to help bring beauty, shelter, and pride to Haiti.
