After discovering the wondrous interaction of magnets upon ferrofluids and seeing the micro-sculptures created by Sachiko Kodma, the swiss photographer Fabian Oefner began to experiment with the medium himself. Adding water color via a surgical syringe to a bubble of magnetized ferrofluid, Oefner creates extraordinary bubbles of complexly cordoned color.
