Jonty Hurwitz has created a very specialized niche in the sculptural art world by delving into anamorphic (“a distorted image that appears normal only from a certain view point or suitable mirror or lens”) creations.  Using scanners and complex algorithms, Hurwitz is able to produce sculptures whose original identity is only clearly seen with the aid of a cylindrical mirror.  There has been work of his featured on here before in a hodge-podgy post, but I recently found a skull piece that needed sharing and thought a more in-depth look was called for.  On his site (linked above by clicking on his name), one can see that Jonty has quite a range of artistic ability and expressions.  Take a looksy at a selection of his work below.
