Stumbling across a piece of Giacomo Carmagnola’s art over on Another Reader, it was a no-brainer to look further into his portfolio (Giacomo’s tumblr).  Visually akin to a malfunctioning or broken screen/monitor, Giacomo’s work has a very digital and post-post-post-super-post modern aesthetic ;} .  Here are some examples of his evocative distortions:
