There is a certain Zen-like quality to Steve Clark‘s creations. Toying around with watered down inks and allowing the runny pigments in suspension to interact with other elements on the page such as singed areas; Clark fabricates visuals that look elementary, but possess a complexity and aesthetic that is ethereal and casually magical .

Ohara Koson was a master print maker who lived in the Tokyo area in late 1800’s – 1945. Along with a few other masters of the field, Ohara played a large role in resurrecting the Shin-hanga print style from the 17th century. EXQUISITE CRAFTSMANSHIP.
